Upgrade Information
The TIS was upgraded on Thursday, September 20th from 6:00–10:00 a.m. CDT. The upgrade included new features and enhancements, as well as fixes for bugs and browser compatibility issues. The overall functionality and user interface remains the same. If you experience any issues, please send e-mail to utoc@utsystem.edu.

New Course Inventory
A complete inventory of the courses currently being offered through the UT Online Consortium (UTOC) by University of Texas System institutions is now available to the public on the TIS website. The course information in the inventory includes course descriptions, prerequisites, previous semesters offered, and faculty information, where available.
Instructions
- To view the inventory, go to the TIS and click the View Course Inventory link in the dark blue menu bar at the top of the page.
- Use the filters at the top of the page to search by keyword, host campus, course program, or course level, or to increase the number of results per page.
- Click the course title to view course details, section information, and semesters offered.
- Click the green arrow in the view column to view details of the sections that are currently open for registration.
- To add courses to your cart and request registration, log in or create an account.
Campus Semester Start and End Dates
The campus semester start and end dates have been added to the student UTOC Enrollment History report and to the course section details area of the registration request.
Instructions for Students
- Log into the TIS and click the UTOC Enrollment link in the Account console on the left navigation pane.
- The campus semester start and end dates are displayed to the left of each course.
Instructions for Campus Staff
- Log into the TIS and click the Admin Console link in the left navigation pane.
- Click the Search Users link in the User Functions area of the page.
- Search for the student and click the view icon in the Profile column to the far right of the results table.
- Click the UTOC Enrollment link at the top of the page.
- The campus semester start and end dates are displayed to the left of each course.
Comments in E-mail Notifications
Comments added to registration requests by campus staff are now included in the request approved and denied e-mails sent to students and advisors.
Instructions for Students
Previously, students had to log into the TIS and view their individual enrollment requests to see any comments that were made by campus staff at the final approval or denied stages of the request process.
- Look for "The following comments were made by campus staff about your request:" in the request approved or denied e-mail you receive from the TIS.
- On approved requests, there may be important information about payment instructions and steps to claim your campus login credentials.
- On denied requests, there will be information about why the request was denied. In some cases, if you resolve the issue, you can request that the staff member who denied the request revise the decision.
- You will still need to log into the TIS to view comments that were made by campus staff before final processing.
- Log into the TIS and click the Registration Requests link in the Account console on the left navigation pane.
- Click the Title of the course to view Registration Request Details and Notes History.
